Who Is Scott Lynch?

Everyone looks up to someone, right? Well for me, that someone is my dad - Scott Lynch. From just a little girl, my dad and I created an unbreakable bond that means the world to me. I remember in school they would always ask what we wanted to be when we grew up… I said, my dad. That answer wouldn't change if you asked me the same thing today. I aspire to be as humble, as hardworking, and genuine as my father. Scott is the owner of multiple successful businesses and does it with grace. His determination to provide for our family yet was able to teach me how to be the best version of myself I could be along the way. That is called multitasking if you ask me. One day, I dream to have even half the traits he obtains on a daily basis. My dad had to learn for himself as well. He was brought up on the bare minimum but still paved the way for himself to become successful and create an amazing family. I admire him in all aspects even when I feel challenged, he has always pushed me to become the best version of myself, since day one.

Words are bigger than actions...

Out of habit, I do my best to embody who my dad is. Not only our actions form us but its words. One thing my dad has always said that has stuck with me is, “If it is meant to be, it will be”. It may sound cliche to you, but it is more than that to me. Through hardships, victories, and daily life, that saying couldn't be more true. As I have gotten older, I have learned to appreciate my dad's “lessons” and “lectures”, I realize it isn't to torture me, it's because he loves me. On a daily basis, even if it is the smallest inconvenience, I ask myself, “How would Scott handle this?” Majority of the time I just remember, if it is meant to be it will be, and the stress subsides. Even though it's just a short saying, it's our saying and reminds me of who I want to be, and who I want to embody as I become older. Scott lynch carries countless amounts of humility in his heart that I dream of having, his gratitude and determination are tremendous, and I commend him for that. I know everyone looks up to someone, so my question is, Who do you want to become?
